4 Minute - Kim HyunA Inspired Make-Up Look~!

Hello Dear Nitarts' Make-Up Studio Guests~!!! (^____^)/)
Whoaaaaaa, it's been more than 5 months since my last blogpost!
I really, really miss my beauty blog and blogger friends!

Although i couldn't update this blog for some time,
i was pretty moved by the supports my dear readers gave me.
Thanks a bunch, i love y'all~! <3

Anyway, i've finished my studies in majoring Visual Communication Design,  so i'm currently a fresh graduate and eligible to be called as :

 "Nita Desilia Tannawi, S.Ds"

Phew...  it's insane how time flew by so freaking fast! >__<

O.K, enough of the self-defense on why i didn't update my beauty blog for months. Now let's move on to my HyunA's inspired make-up look (originally made this to encourage IBB members to join Indonesian Beauty Blogger Make-Up Challenge on August : "Pop Your K-Pop") but i was too late.
At first, i was puzzled on which K-Pop idol look i should imitate but i eventually chose HyunA's look in the pic below because i think she looks GORGEOUS here and her gaze is just mesmerizing.

Girl Group :  4Minute - Kim HyunA

I focused on achieving the flawless and fair porcelain-like skin tone like her because my skin is definitely not even close to the definition of the word "flawless" itself. (ugly truth!)

Here's my final look :

In the photo below, i added more eyeliner on the bottom of my eyelids to make it looks intense, As the result i look fierce but super unfriendly here. lol

Review of First Aid Aqua Rush Mask from Belif !

Heya Dear Nitarts' Make Up Studio Guests~! ^___^
Are you on your final year of Uni, doing your exhausting thesis / final project? (like me. lol)
Do you have piles of work waiting to be done?
Do you feel stressed out because of your everyday routine at school / work?
If so, read on peeps! :)

Today i'm about to review a perfect mask to relieve your stress level and gives you immediate feeling of relaxation!!! It's called First Aid Aqua Rush Mask from a premium Korean brand called "Belif". The brand claims to be the most truthful and sincere skincare brand that you have ever come across. It leverages the knowledge and traditional herbal processing method passed down from a British herbalist since 1860 to create a cosmetic line formulated with superb ingredients and efficacy for the skin.

Product description from the official Belif website :

"A wash-off aqua mask that contains moisture, vitamins, and minerals extracted from the roots of the Lotus plant, an aquatic perennial with strong hydrating properties. Instantly provides moisturizing and soothing effects along with a refreshing cooling sensation. The unique formula burst with moisture keeps the dull and dehydrated skin moisturized and smooth, by hydrating and delivering an instant and long-lasting freshness."

Box - Front

Box - Right side
(idk what it says since it's all written in Korean, sorry... >__<)

Box - Left side

 Box - Back

Product - Front

Product - Back
There's a lid as the divider, so the product do not stain the cap of the jar or messed up everytime you want to use the mask

Packaging :

The box and the product jar itself are simple, there's nothing too fancy about the design. BUT i really gives credit because this kind of packaging actually makes us easier to read the provided texts printed on the packaging which contain many information about the product usage, ingredients, etc.

Consistency :

Definitely not thick or even creamy, it's like somewhere between runny and pretty creamy. Well, i'd say pretty runny then since the base is aqua formula. No wonder why i experience trouble decribing the consistency, the product itself says it's an unique formula, which you do not come across everyday.

Color :

Since there's no synthetic colorants added (definitely a plus), so the color isn't vibrant. It's like broken-white.

Scent :

No synthetic fragrance added (definitely a plus). The product smell like mixture of herbs but subtle. The herb smell is nothing near too overpowering, which i like. If the herb smell is very obvious, some people who do not fancy herb smell would find it pretty annoying.

FYI, this mask do not consist of mineral oil, synthetic fragrance, synthetic dyes. synthetic preservatives, animal-origin ingredients.   Oh yeah~

How to use the mask :

After cleansing and toning, apply generous amount of product onto your face avoiding the eye and mouth area. Leave it for 10 minutes, wash off with lukewarm, then cool water. Voila! :D

*Do not apply only a small amount of product, since it's gonna be dry and makes you uncomfortable*

Does it works as it claims?

Instantly provides moisturizing and soothing effect : YES!
Refreshing cooling sensation : YES!
Keeps the dull and dehydrated skin moisturized and smooth : YES!

This is the first mask which has succeded to impress me. Why? It works exactly as it claims!!! Some of the mask i've ever tried on never gives me the "promised" moisture effect right after i wash it off *shooooo~* it's gone and i have to apply moisturizer soon afterwards. -_____-" Unlike this mask, when i wash it off, the moisture is still there for loooooong hours!! and makes your dull skin more supple and smooth in instant!! :D

I've been using this mask from February, not on regular basis though, only on hectic days, whenever i feel tired, stressed out, need a quick solution to make me feel refreshed (this mask gives you cool sensation once you apply it onto your face). On those days, this works wonder!!!

The reason why i don't use it regularly is because this mask doesn't give you any other benefits for your specific skin problems (blackheads, whiteheads, acnes, wrinkle, make your skin tone brighter, etc.) only makes it feels moisturized, supple and smoother.

Recommended for :

* People with exhausting daily routine / piles of work / doing thesis (lol) / stressed out for any reasons.
* People who have dull-tired looking skin.
* Very dry skin, dry, normal, normal to oily, combination.

Not recommended for :

* Super oily skin.
* People who want to seek solutions for their specific face skin problems.

Conclusion of Overall Performance :

Pros

+ Long lasting moisture.
+ Makes your skin more supple.
+ Make your skin surface smoother.
+ Cool sensation
+ Makes you feel refreshed and relaxed

Cons
- Premium skincare brand = pretty expensive
- Have to apply generous amount of product instead of just a small amount... T______T </3

All in all this mask is superb! I personally love this product! Works wonder! Another winner from Belif. Highly recommended! <3

 That's it for today!
Thanks for reading dear beauty enthusiasts!
I wish you a fabulous day! ^___^
Until then, take care!

Getting Rid of the Unwanted Hair Professionally at ZAP

Hello Dear Readers~!
Hope you're all doing great!
Today, i'm about to review a place which offers pro hair removal treatment! :D

Ladies, do you have unwanted hair in certain parts of your body that you want to get rid of for the sake of your appearance? if so, yeah, me too! T___T Some people do not have this body hair problem at all but most of us (including me), have body hair in parts we do not desire, for example : underarms hair, legs hair, and so on, you name it. We have to continuosly getting rid of it, which is so time consuming and not practical, we'd be very pleased if the unwanted hair could be gone forever for good. Right? lol

Although there are lotsa people who go to a professional places to get rid of their unwanted hair, i think there are even more many people, especially ladies, who are shy to go to places like this. There are many factors, but the most common reason is they don't want to show their underarm hair/leg hair to anyone out of shyness. I know right! that's pretty much embarassing.

Because of the same reason, i was hesitated at first about going for underarm hair removal treatment to a place which offers professional hair removal treatment called ZAP, located at Walter Mongonsidi, South Jakarta branch. My house is in North Jakarta so yeah it's really far... T__T i really hoped ZAP service wouldn't be a dissapointment after spending some time to get there.

What is ZAP?

ZAP started its business with hair removal technology that has been very popular in Singapore, Australia and other countries. ZAP uses the most advanced technology in today's world market for removing unwanted hair quickly, safely, and pain-free. ZAP only uses technology that has passed Quality Inspection and has international recognized certificate (USA FDA and or CE approved)

*Pic is taken from Letvia's blog*

ZAP has range of treatments, not only hair removal treatment, but also Photo facial, Pore & wrinkle reduction treatment

1st floor interior (waiting room) - Left side
I was relieved to see the waiting room is pretty spacious and comfy! :D

1st floor interior (waiting room)  - Right side

 A big flatscreen TV, that's a plus!

There's also the ZAP cafe with various menu provided
*All of the staff didn't want to be photographed so they were jokingly hiding behind the table lol* XD

I fancy all kind of green tea drinks and have tasted many green tea smoothies from the cheapo-pricey ones and the ZAP cafe's Green Tea Smoothies is unexpectedly really gewd!!! >__< *love love*

2nd floor interior - registration desk

2nd floor interior - waiting room

Treatment room - there's Dr. Endi Novianto, SpKK as ZAP medical consultant, so they really know what they're doing, it's totally a plus

I honestly some kind of observing the treatment room, and it's so hygienic *phew!* no worries ladies! :)

To my surprise, each of the treatment room has a TV planted on the wall above, so you can watch while having your treatment because it's right above your head! How cool is that?

another treatment room which i did my treatment in

The staff who did my treatment is really nice! She didn't even know i was doing sponsored treatment and taking pics for blogging purpose BUT she answered all of my questions nicely. Once i did a make over from a high-end cosmetics not saying i'm a beauty blogger and the service was horrible.

Steps for underarm treatment :

1. Changed my outfit to their provided cloth
2. Layed down on the bed with my arm lifted up
2. The staff cleaned the underarm area with alcohol
3. She removed the underarm hair by using a NEW razor blade
4. Applied blue cold gel in the area
5. Using the laser machice in the area afterwards (there's a bit of stingy sensation, the staff has explained beforehand about this thing so the sting didn't surprise me lol)

The machine
6. DONE!

The treatment only took about 10 minutes! Super fast, i personally like it :)

Result!!!

*gyaaaa~ ( >//////< )*

For the permanent hair removal, it usually takes about 5 to 8 treatment. I've only done it once.

There are 5 branches of ZAP in Indonesia, for more information about the locations, range of treatments and price list, you can easily see it on their official website HERE

Notes :

* It's best not to shave your underarm for more or less 12 hours before getting the treatment
* Do not apply water/deodorant for more or less 8 hours after getting the treatment

Overall

PROS

+ Comfortable waiting room and treatment room
+ Friendly staff
+ Affordable price
+ ZAP cafe (The Green Tea Smoothies is love! lol)
+ Hygienic
+ FAST treatment
+ The hair grows super slow afterwards

CONS
- Far from my house ( oh whyyyy  )

All in all i'm satisfied with the treatment at ZAP, thank you Mba Niken for having me! :)

D'Eyeko "Beauty in Her Eyes" Competition!

Hello Dear Nitarts' Make-Up Studio Guest ! :D
Phew, i'm finally back with a new post regardless of how things have been going...
Anyway, we're only 8 days away from March, oh wow.
(Jeez. Excuse me, i just can't stop whining about how fast time has been these days!!! >__<)

Despite of having some things to be done, i managed to join D'EYEKO Photography Competition called "Beauty in Her Eyes" because i love competition, especially regarding Art/Beauty lol. I bet most of you dear readers have already known what is D'Eyeko, yes it's a brand which sells premium eyelashes.

The brand claims :

1. Made from 100% sterilized natural hair.
2. Easy application, lightweight, comfortable.
3. Natural looking result, just like the real eyelashes.
4. Can be used several times.
5. Safe for contact lens user.
6. 100% handmade.

Sounds really good, eh? i'll review the eyelashes later though because today's post is about the competition. First thing first, the registration fee is 200.000 rupiahs (around US $20) !! ok it might sounds like nothing to you, but as for me, it's the most expensive regis fee i paid by far for joining a competition x___x ... They sent me 4 pairs of eyelashes though, so it's even.

I had to submit 4 photos for the competition :

1. Model - "Before" look.
2. Model - "After 1" look.
3. Model - "After 2" look.
4. Photographer.

The main consent of "Beauty in Her Eyes" competition is to bring out the beauty of your model through her eyelashes in the "After" photo, the model's eyes have to be expressive.

Here are my submission!!

1. Model - "Before" look.

2. Model - "After 1" look.

3. Model - "After 2" look.

4. Photographer.
(yes, you remember it right, this photo is from my previous post about the Valentine's day look, idk which photo of mine i should sent so i went with my latest. trololol~)

Close up!!! :)

Let's get real now, there's no wayyyyy i could win this competition after seeing the rest of the competitors!!! They took it seriously, with studio lightings and such, unlike me *cough* (yea that's a bit upsetting, i thought the competition was just for fun, if i knew most of the contestants are semi-pro/pro, i wouldn't have participated in the first place, lol 8D).

Still, it'd be humiliating if i end up with less than 50 votes and others would be hundreds and even thousands! So, please kindly vote mine by clicking HERE and hit the like button! Tons of thanks!
*free hugs and kisses!*

Thanks for visiting der readers ^__^

Day to Night Looks for Your Perfect Valentine's Day!

Hello Dear Nitarts' Make-Up Studio Guest! ^__^
It's 10 days before Valentine! Woo~hooo!!
Have you prepared anything special for your loved ones? <3

I actually wanted to create dramatic makeup for the Valentine's day BUT after giving it some thoughts, i went with wearable makeup looks instead so that people who read this blogpost can get some inspirations for their Valentine's day :)

IMHO Valentine's day isn't just for couple, it's the day to celebrate compassion towards your loved ones, with that being said, i think there are possibilities that some people would spend the day with different companions. Let's say family event in the morning, gathering with some friends in the afternoon, and eventually some people would enjoy a date with their BF/GF/husband/wife in the evening. Different occassion does need different look, but what if you didn't have that much time to change your entire look??

In this post i'm about to show you 3 wearable looks for your Valentine's day special events, these looks are easy to achieve yet very versatile.

Warning!!! lotsa pictures, please kindly close the tab if you're not interested :)

Guess what? for all of the 3 looks, i used the same eye makeup!!! so you just need to adjust the lippies and hairdo throughout the whole day, there's no such thing as time consuming! I decided to go with shades of brown for the eyes because it's the most neutral eyeshadow color to wear anytime, super safe. Let's start! :D

1. Morning Event

In the morning, it's best to keep your makeup simple, soft, and natural. Try your hardest not to use bold colors on the cheeks and lips. Do not make visible contouring / shading / highlighting as well, you don't want to scare anyone off first thing in the morning, right? :)

Lips Product used : NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in 159 LA~ LA~

2. Afternoon Event

More colors please to liven up the day! People tend to go to certain places to hang out in the afternoon, some don't want to look too plain. The easiest thing to do are changing your lips color and hairdo (for example, curl you hair with flat iron for about 10-20 minutes, there are many small sized flat irons in the market so you can easily put it in your bag) :D

Lips Product used : Viva Lipstick no. 25

3. Evening Event

In the evening, people usually attend more formal events, adding glamorous ambience to your look in order to suit the event is mostly preferred. Simply move your haircurls to one side and make it stay put by using some black bobbi pins, plus, again, change your lips color to even more vivid and bolder than the previous one.

Lips Product used : Urban Decay Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss in Timothy

P.S : the color is bold in real life, idk why my camera didn't show the right color... T__T

Hope this post could inspire you for your purrr-fect Valentine's day look throughout the day! Thank you for reading :)
Lotsa love! <3
