My Wishlisht of Carnellin's 12 Days Christmas Giveaway!

Hello dear Nitartstudio Guests~!
GOSH! Christmas is almost here!!!
Do you know that our beloved Carnellin (Ci Nellin) is holding a Christmas giveaway with amazing prizes?! No? just simply click HERE.

I found out about ci Nellin's giveaway since days ago but didn't have the opportunity to make a proper blogpost about it because i was abroad for 6 days (12-17 Dec.) then when i got back here, i had to stayed at a hotel located in South Jakarta for 4 days (18-21 Dec.) with crazy packed schedule because i won a national campaign of a cosmetic brand. After i got home, on Dec 22nd i had to compete for a makeup competition because i was chosen as one of the finalists and here i am on Dec 23rd, mad tired... but still trying my best to make a blogpost regarding ci Nellin's giveaway because i'd really love to win some of the amazing prizes!!! (>_____<)

To show you how bad i wanna win the beauty products available for grabs, i came up with some original illustrations made by using a graphic tablet and design software. I really hope you guys enjoy my (hopefully) artsy and fun presentation! :D

The beauty products i'd LOVE to win are :

1. Yves Saint Laurent Forever Light Creator

What a coincidence!!! since this product is the first Skintone Corrector Serum by YSL, i'm super curious and definitely would really like to try it, especially because this product claims to :

"helps correct the appearance of uneven skintone by acting on dark spots, uniformity, clarity and radiance. Instantly, skin looks more luminous, its texture refined. Over time, color imperfections - dark spots & redness - look visibly reduced, skintone recovers its clarity and evenness."

I REALLY hope to win this product basically because i need it so bad. I used to have problem with acne, but no, not this year. I'm not even sure why but the acnes are all almost gone as i grow older BUT as replacements, in 2013 my skin really suffers from black spots. I can't even go out without using a good quality concealer to hide this little spots of imperfection.

My bestfriend even notice the dark spots are getting bigger and bigger overtime, it really frightens me! i even consider getting a laser treatment done but i thought... no, i think there must be an excellent skincare product to overcome this problem. I've been eyeing on some high end serums including this one, but yeah, it's just out of my league, too pricey... (T_____T) </3

2. Shu Uemura Heart Full Pink Palette

Honestly speaking (typing), i already have Shu Uemura's Black Parallel Palette from winning the best dress at Shu Uemura counter opening event at Lotte Shopping Avenue, Jakarta, last month, you can read about it HERE BUT! as a huge fan of Art, Illustration, Manga, Anime and stuff like those... i absolutely can't resist to have both holiday 2013 collection palette!!!

Sorry but this pink palette basically just screams out to be owned immediately. I LOVE this limited collection so so so bad!!! As much as i wanted to pass this prize to somebody else, i just can't deny the fact i wanted this an awful lot... i even can sing to this holiday collection promotional video song, sung by Miku (Vocaloid). Shu Uemura feat Takashi Murakami rocks! (>___<)

3. Katy Perry Killer Queen Eau De Perfume

I'm actually a fan of Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry was said to be her rival because they seem to always bring out extremely unique approach to their outfits, stage performances, music videos and so on BUT among many things that differentiate Gaga and Katy, i think one of the definite thing is Gaga often too experimental that people can't seem to relate to her style, mindset and all, they are most probably left being so confused, or even grossed out (which is very understandable), while Katy on the other hand, always produce things (concert tickets, songs, etc.) people all around the world would actually willing to buy in such a short period of time.

Gaga is too artsy and hard to understand while Katy is so gorgeous and commercial that whatever she sells will undoubtedly sold out right away. Ever heard of Lady Gaga's perfume called Fame? I was so excited about it until i found an article on Wikipedia.

"Gaga wanted the perfume to smell of blood and semen. However, the singer stated that while the perfume was based on the molecular structure of the two substances, it would not smell of them. She further explained that the blood element was based on a sample her own blood molecules to create "a sense of having me on your skin". Rather than blood and semen, she said that the perfume would smell like an 'expensive hooker'". O.K enough, it gave me chills ! (-_____-")

Meanwhile Gaga's sounds ridiculous and cheap, Katy's is so tempting!!!

"She is empowered and invincible, headstrong and beautiful, lethally gorgeous, and regally restless. Revolution is in the air. It’s time to overthrow convention. There’s a new queen in town.

Killer Queen by Katy Perry is an intoxicating and charmingly playful floriental fragrance with luscious notes fit for royalty. Inspired by a Queen’s scepter, the jewel-shaped bottle portrays sexy sophistication and luxury. The rich gold crown cap showcases a custom crest capturing Katy Perry’s playful essence."

After i read the description, i'm SOLD!!! "luscious notes fit for royalty"? oh yeah! i just can't wait to own it, smell it, wear it, and feel like the so-called-a-new-queen-in-town. lol. With that being said, i would loveeeee to win this! (>_____<") *Katy never fails to sell, i wonder why*

4. Jacqueline from Riche Accessories

I think this necklace is simple yet elegant. Perfectly suits neckless dress to boost your party look and still looking not over the top. Can be used to boost your casual t-shirt when hanging out with friends to avoid looking too plain or dull. Versatile accessories!

Here's a night dress i draw manually (color pencils, watercolors) which i think would suit this necklace! :)

I'm wishing that i could win these babies!
and hopefully you can win the beauty products of your choice too!

Goodluck for us! :)

Sally Hansen Press Event!

Hiya Dear Nitartstudio Guests~!
Merry Christmas 2013!
Hope you had a wonderful one (\(^____^)/)

I supposed to have this event report posted since weeks ago but due to some unfortunate events, this post was abandoned on my blog drafts. I'm truly sorry for this late event report!!! Hope you guys still enjoy it nonetheless, because guess what? this is a Sally Hansen event! YAY!

Last month i attended their event which took place at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta, Indonesia. The exact venue was at the Hotel's spa so the ambience was really relaxing. I arrived pretty early and was greeted by Sally Hansen team, Allison (Australian) and Anne (French), they're so friendly.

Since the event hasn't started yet, i explored the products provided at the venue. There were sooooo many of them! Gosh! i was like a fat girl in a candy store. lol~ XD

Honestly, their wide range of products really surprised me. I knew that Sally Hansen is well known for their nail treatment products so they have very specific products to overcome various nail problems, but now, they also have high quality real nail polish strips and coloured nail polishes.

and... just when i thought Sally Hansen was all about nail products only, turned out i was so wrong!!! :O

 Airbrush Legs
(Allison said, in Australia every model has to use this before doing a photoshoot. It's a must! lol)

 Hair Remover

Finally, Allison's presentation has started!

Sally Hansen invented "Hard as Nails" in 1958 and it's still a best selling product today (how cool is that?). There are 3 key pillars of Sally Hansen products : beauty tools, nail treatment and nail colour.
All in all, the presentation was focusing on the introduction of their products and the brand itself, you can find out more about it on their official website HERE

I absolutely love how detailed the informations were given, i didn't know anything about their products at all besides the treatments range and now i know way more! yay!

Oh, there's an interesting thing i should share with you guys, from this event i just found out that everything you can do to your face, you can do it to your nails, too! (including putting on mask, etc.) :O

After Allison's presentation has ended, we're moving on to manicure session! *excited*

Color options
i chose the color inside the red circle on the photo above, but too bad they didn't bring it…

I ended up choosing 3 shades,
1. Pretty bronze-rosy gold colour called Pennies For Heaven

2. Mysteriously charming teal colour called Jungle Gem
3. Sparkly teal colour called Mermaid's Tale

Comfortable and relaxing manicure room

Shella (Ochell) and i
we're busy taking pics for our beauty blog. lol~

The result!

O.K, so before you guys judging me for not having my nails covered in the same colours, please let me explain, lol. Because the shade i originally wanted wasn't there, i decided to experiment by wearing different colours on both hands… and well, as weird as this may sounds, i gotta say that i actually kinda like it! it's so bold and unusual. *_____*

After i had my nails done, i had a great time talking to Allison, she's so sociable and easy to talk to.

Allison and some of the beauty bloggers

If i could give an award for the healthiest food and drinks provided on a beauty event i attended in 2013, Sally Hansen would be an easy winner!!!

From left to right :

1. Beet Root - Orange - Ginger : lower blood pressure, weight loss program.
2. Tomato - Celery : aids digestion, anti aging.
3. Carrot - Apple - Cucumber : cures diabetic and pain management.
4. Pineapple - Apple - Ginger : antioxidant, strengthen bone.

A beauty event isn't complete without a group photo, right?

Thank you Sally Hansen for inviting me, it broadens my knowledge about the products which i really like. I really appreciate it! :D

Magic Eyes Instant Eyeshadow for Perfect eye make-up in 10 seconds by Sophie Paris!

Hello dear Nitartstudio Guests~! :D
Do you think it's possible to have a perfect eye make-up in just 10 seconds??
Today i'm gonna review a beauty product which claim to do so!

I was really curious whether this particular product really works like magic as it claims, so i tried it. I mean like seriously?! 10 seconds!? O___O whoaaaaa~ i can't even put eyeliner on both eyes with such a short time!!! Without further due, i present you Magic Eyes Instant Eyeshadow by Sophie Paris.

Packaging

Front

Back

Directions of usage at the back of the packaging

Some infos on the left side of the packaging (batch number, expired date, net weight) and the name of the product on the right side.

Product

There are 2 pairs of instant eyeshadow in a box

Front and Back side of the instant eyeshadow

Captured this photo to the direction of the lighting so you can see that each pair is protected by a thin layer of plastic.

I tore the plastic off to take out the product but i wasn't being very careful and accidentally touched the  eyeshadow >___< so as the result some of the eyeshadow sticked on my middle finger as the picture above shows (inside the red circle).

Application

Applied the product according to the directions. Closed my eyelid, raised my eyebrow to give a flat surface for better application, hold the product firmly for approximately 4 seconds. I did this steps for both of my eyelids.

So, how's the result?

TA-DAAAAAAAA~!!!

I like how the 3 colored instant eyeshadow sticked very easily to my eyelid in just seconds of application. It gives you even colored result in instant, not patchy at all. Very effortless!

I'm not a fan of the final result though... the 3 colored eyeshadow looked really STIFF, the gradation of the colors were noticeably separated from one to another. It desperately needed some blending! i took my blending brush and did a quick blending out of curiosity "will it blend out? or will it stay stiff because it's some kind of a real eyeshadow sticker?" well, apparently the colors were blend out easily!!

This is how it looked like after i blend it out an put on winged eyeliner. Well, i actually kinda like it! XD this method is way faster than applying eyeshadows on your eyelid. An ideal product if you're in a rush.

I went to a beauty event that day and not even one of my fella beauty bloggers commented on my eye make-up so i think the instant eyeshadow looks so natural! just to make sure my thought was right, i asked some of them whether there's something weird about my eye make-up and they stared at me for a while then said "no" lol.

Does it work as it claims?

Magic Eyes Instant Eyeshadow by Sophie Paris claims to give a perfect make-up in 10 seconds. The stated 10 seconds are just about enough to put on the instant eyeshadow for both eyes alone. It still needs blending, so i'd say NAHHH.

Recommended for :

This is a great product for busy women who often have to rush and do not have much time to do their makeup but still need to look decent, presentable and pretty. It's so pratical and fast, you just need to blend it out a little and...VOILA!

Not Recommended for :

Women who actually have enough time to do their eye make-up. Putting on eyeshadows by using proper tools like eye make-up brushes will definitely give you much more satisfying result compared to instant eyeshadow.

Pros :

+ Super fast application!!!
+ Even eyeshadow color (no patches at all)
+ Very practical

Cons :

- STIFF (separated colors)
- Need blending
- Can be messy if you accidentally touch the eyeshadow part (like me!)
- The size of our eyelids can be different, so it's basically like wearing an "All Size T-shirt" :/

So, what do you think beauty enthusiasts?
Are you interested to try this product as well?
Until next time, take care~! (^____^)/)
