Shu Uemura feat Takashi Murakami Holiday 2013 Collection : 6 Heart Princess!

Last Saturday, 9th November, i was invited for Shu Uemura Counter Opening Event at Lotte Shopping Avenue, Jakarta, Indonesia. Aside from the counter opening, this event was also focusing on introducing their latest limited edition in 2013 : Shu Uemura Holiday (Christmas) Collection feat Takashi Murakami called "6 Heart Princess".

Who's Takashi Murakami?

Takashi Murakami was born in 1962 in Tokyo, and received his BFA, MFA and PhD from the Tokyo University of the Arts (formerly the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music). He founded the Hiropon factory in Tokyo in 1996, which later evolved into Kaikai Kiki, an art production and art management corporation. He currently lives and works in Tokyo.

What is "6 Heart Princess"?

6 heart princess (6HP) is Takashi Murakami's upcoming artwork, an animation film to be aired as TV series in 2014. 6HP is built upon “Majokko(magical princess)” concept, a unique theme that constantly appears throughout the history of Japanese animation from "Sailor Moon‟ to "Pricure‟ series, where a girl transforms herself into her otherself in a parallel universe between real and surreal. The story of 6HP consists of 6 good princesses against 1 evil princess (Black Princess). For the collaboration with Shu Uemura, the Pink Princess, a representative of 6 princesses, and the Black Princess has been selected as two main characters.

I was SO EXCITED for this limited edition collection because i'm such a huge fan of Art, illustration, manga, anime and such! when i saw the packaging, photo & video promotions of this holiday collection i was instantly in love~!!! GYAAAAA~~~ (\( ^ O ^ )/)

O.K, let's move on to the counter opening event, shall we? :)

First of all, the beauty bloggers invited were warmly welcomed by Shu Uemura Indonesia representatives.

She's introducing the new color bar. Well, i must say it's really organised yet still managed to look elegant.

The products are placed according to the shades. Very neat looking, right?

Another color bar spotted inside of the counter. The color combination of this side is insane! I wanna bring all of them home!!! :(((((

This side displays Shu Uemura's top 10 best seller products with their cleansing oil placed on number 1 just as expected. lol

Introducing Shu Atelier! this is a fun side, you can get a make over done according to your needs. They have 3 different kinds of lighting here (i personally think this is a smart move, because most of the make up counters here tend to have only 1 source of lighting).

In my opinion, this "S" shaped eyelash curler designed by Takashi Murakami is by far the best design of eyelash curler i've ever came across! i'm gonna purchase it before December ends!!! <3 <3 <3

After we're done touring the new Shu Uemura counter, Shu Uemura representatives chose 2 persons as the best dress. 1 person represents The Pink Princess and another represents Black Princess and GUESS WHAT!?

I won as the Black Princess and was rewarded the Enchanted Black Parallel Pallette. It's coincidentally the packaging i fancy the most out of their Christmas 2013 Collection, YAYYY~~!!! (\(>____<)/)
