Good news for Wardah Cosmetic lovers!

They has launched the new Eye Expert Series!!! YAYYY~ (\(^____^)/)

Last Friday, 28th March 2014, some media representatives, fashion bloggers and beauty bloggers were invited to Wardah Eyeconic Soiree at Portico Terrace Bistro, Senayan City, Jakarta to experience a lovely evening and trying out their newly launched eye products. I was invited by Indonesian Beauty Blogger. Thank you IBB!

Thea and i arrived way too early to the venue. lol~ (^__^")

Some time later... all of the guests have arrived as well.

Dresscode : Black and Silver.

I have to give Wardah Cosmetic team credits for this beautifully styled decorations and i bet all of the guests felt really welcomed because each of us have our names printed in front of the table! :D

The MC of the day greeted us warmly

Wardah Cosmetic Product Manager and Make-Up Artist were explaining the details regarding the newly launched Wardah Eye Expert Series : Staylast Gel Liner and Staylast Liquid Eyeliner.

Staylast Gel Liner has Parafin Soy Wax Blend as active ingredients and Soybean Oil as the base, mixed with glycerides (linoleic, oleic, linolenic and palmitic acids) while Staylast Liquid Eyeliner has Aloe Vera as active ingredients and volatile solvent to make the eyeliner dries up fast once applied but of course still safe for the eyes. The final result for the Gel Liner is matte while the Liquid Eyeliner is glossy.

The guests were excitedly trying out the eyeliners.

I chose to apply the Liquid Eyeliner, it was intensely Black!

After done with having the eyeliners applied, we're enjoying our dinner and chit-chatting with other bloggers. All in all, it was a beautiful and enjoyable event!!! <3

Both of the packaging are identical, chic and simple. The silver caps are made out of plastic, however, the gel liner pot is made out of glass while the liquid eyeliner is from plastic.

The gel liner has an attached brush from the cap for easy application.

I love how both of them have intense Black Colour and really easy to be applied.

Conclusion :

I love how both of Wardah Eye Expert Series : Staylast Gel Liner and Staylast Liquid Liner have intense Black colour in just one stroke, the application is sooo easy as well, ideal for daily make-up look! BUT if you're going to a big event (concert, wedding celebration, graduation, etc.) then i don't reccommend these because the staying power is good, not great. All in all, for affordable products, the quality is pretty good!!! :)

IBB Make Up Challenge February 2014 with Etude House!

Hope you guys are doing great!

Yup, i still attend beauty events, hang out with b-blogger friends, and routinely update my instagram account, but i'm totally aware that it's been a while since my last blogpost, i'm so sorry!

My first post in March is about Indonesian Beauty Blogger (IBB) February Make-Up Challenge (MUC) feat. Etude House Indonesia : "Summer Fairytale". 

 

 Have you guys joined IBB Feb MUC yet? Etude was the first Korean makeup brand i ever tried, and now they're giving out beauty products worth IDR 2.000.000 for 2 winners so make sure you join the competition! as for me, well yeah as you guys know IBB staff(s) can't join MUC, it's restricted to IBB members only. *sobs!!! i also want the products...* TT________TT

O.K let's move to my own version of the theme given : "Summer Fairytale". I wanted my makeup look to be fun yet wearable, so i focused on achieving fair - flawless skin like all of Etude House brand ambassadors (lol~ XD). I played with Orange color (symbolize the Sun) - Blue color (symbolize the Ocean) for the fresh Summer look. The reason i chose both colors was basically because the first thing that popped up in my head after hearing "Summer" is the beach!

For this makeup look, things to be noted are : i had to use a foundation which is lighter than my skintone to make my skin appeared brighter and concealer was extremely crucial to hide any imperfections, so although this makeup looks pretty natural (IMHO), it's actually NOT. lol come on peeps if my skin was this flawless without any makeups on i'd be overjoyed~ XD


Details of the Eye Makeup

The eye makeup was so much different than usual because i didn't use any false lashes to accentuate my small eyes and put on really thick eyeliner to emphasize my monolid, so if i closed my eyes you can really see how thick i applied it (seems ugly, huh...) :S

For the blue colored eyeshadow, i used Etude House Bling in the Sea Proof 10 Color Eye Stick from 2013 Summer collection





The color i used was Aqua Blue

Just a simple and very soft Orange colored gradient lips by using foundie and lipstick

IBB Make Up Challenge January 2014 with Caring Colours!

Today i want to share my version of Indonesian Beauty Blogger Make-Up Challenge January 2014 sponsored by Caring Colours : "Glamorous New Year Party" look!

Since this month's sponsor is a trustworthy local brand (yay!) i use some of my Caring Colours products to achieve the look! :D 

I started by applying a light coverage foundation (uugh, my dark spot in the left cheek is so obvious >__<)

 Then top it off with powder with oil control

Created dimension to avoid flatness by adding shading and highlight

Eyebrows!

After having the eyebrows done, i applied eyeshadows, eyeliner and of course false lashes with steps like showed on the picture above to create more dramatic look!

(i put on blush on afterwards because i forgot to use it after shading and highlight lol... sorry)

Applied a suitable lip color to complement the look

After done with the make up, i completed the whole look by outfit and hairdo! :)
